Our learning centre has been specifically designed and built for comfort and productivity; it is the perfect set up for effective individual and small group learning experiences. Our centre comprises of separate classrooms aimed to foster a quiet and nurturing environment.
Group lessons are small in size to achieve maximum individualised attention which also help to promote positive social interactions within each group. Each classroom is bright and clean, and are furnished with contemporary furniture and equipped with the necessary resources and technology found in their normal classroom.
CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION
We value parental input and believe that the success of each student is achieved through the collaboration of parents, students and SL educators.
Our commitment is to provide regular updates and open communication about the progress and achievements of each student. We have effective assessment tools to check and monitor your child’s progress. Parents will be provided with valuable feedback on student progress throughout the course of their learning journey.
Your child’s progress and engagement in their learning can also be accessed via a digital portfolio.
QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED
All of our primary and high school teachers have completed their Bachelor of Education or Teaching Degree. Equally as important they are passionate about children and teaching.
We are very proud to have these experienced teachers at SL Tutoring as they have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in helping students reach their greatest potential.
In addition, our high school teachers preparing HSC and IB students as well as our primary teachers implementing our oc and selective high programs have all gained a high ATAR which means they are intelligent and exceptionally proficient in the subjects they are teaching.
INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PROGRAMS
Teachers work collaboratively with the programming team in order to tailor and personalise lessons. These are regularly monitored and modified to reflect the changing needs of the individual.
The lesson content and materials are carefully selected using a myriad of effective texts, and a variety of resources to provide students with the best educational support to suit their learning needs.
